This course is part of OSHA’s Focus Four topics, Struck-By Hazards in the Construction industry. The course starts by diving into the fundamental concepts of struck-by hazards on construction sites, their prevalence, and the importance of recognizing them to ensure safety. You will then get to review various types of struck-by hazards and examples. Nearly all struck by injuries are preventable. You will get to review protective measures, safe work practices, and the use of personal protective equipment to prevent struck-by injuries on the job site.
