This course covers OSHA regulations and safety responsibilities, focusing on the Hierarchy of Controls to minimize hazard exposure. You’ll learn about Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), air-purifying respirators, filtration methods, and Permissible Exposure Limits. The course also explores Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus, air-supplied respirators, and respirator types, including half- and full-face models. Gain practical knowledge in fitting, using, and maintaining respirators, as well as understanding labeling, change-out schedules, and protection levels. Additionally, the training covers respirator inspection, cleaning, storage, and OSHA recordkeeping standards.
