The Electrical Hazards Safety Course gives workers the knowledge to recognize and prevent some of the most dangerous risks on the jobsite. Covering electrical shocks, burns, arc flashes, and electrocution, the course explains how hazards occur from overhead power lines, faulty wiring, improper grounding, and unsafe tool use. Participants will learn how to identify risks early and apply safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, equipment inspections, and maintaining safe distances. The program also details how to properly select and use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as insulated gloves, face shields, and flame-resistant clothing to reduce the chance of serious injury.
